Why travel with us
Five reasons travellers choose a founder-led journey with Global Venturers.
Our founder Bijan Paul has explored 115 countries. That depth of travel experience shapes every route, every stop and every recommendation.

200+ successful tours
More than a decade organising and running tours through our private tour company, Moroccan Ventures, with over 200 tours delivered. You’re in experienced hands from first enquiry to final farewell.
03
Places most tours never reach
We build our journeys around the hidden valleys, quiet villages and remote landscapes that the vast majority of tour companies simply skip.
04
Memories, beautifully captured
Bijan is a photographer and filmmaker. We capture the journey in photos and film along the way, with golden-hour stops and tips for your own shots, so you come home with beautiful memories.
05
Comfort without compromise
Our tours are made for travellers who value quality, not backpacker budgets: well-run hotels and riads with proper standards, comfortable private transport and great places to eat, recommended by people who know them.
“
We’ll never be a tour company that measures success in numbers.
Global Venturers is for travellers who care about quality: a journey that feels right from the first message to the last goodbye, shaped by an almost obsessive eye for the little details that turn a good trip into one you’ll talk about for years.

Where will you go first?
We run a small number of carefully crafted departures each year. Our first journey is Morocco, a country our team knows inside out through Moroccan Ventures.
More departures for 2027 and 2028 will be announced soon.
Meet the founder
Hi, I’m Bijan
Thanks for stopping by. I’m Bijan Paul. Bijan is my first name, and Paul is my middle name. The name felt right, as I’m half Persian and half English, with a foot in both worlds.
My father is from Iran and my mother is from the UK. When I was 16, my father took me to Iran so I could learn his language and culture. I went to an international school and became fluent in Farsi. That time changed how I saw the world. I grew more curious about history and other cultures, and learned to pay closer attention to the nature and life around me. It was a chance to see beyond the familiar world I’d known in the UK.
When we returned, we settled in Bournemouth. I went on to study graphic design, then moved to London for university. I lived and worked there for about ten years. I enjoyed the creative work, but the long hours began to wear on me. I found myself wondering whether life had to be all work.
Around that time, I met Ana, who would become my partner. She was from Sadova, a mountain village in Romania. We were both working long hours in London and wanted a different kind of life, so we took a leap and moved to Sadova to be near her family.
I was fortunate that I could keep working in design online, back when remote work was still unusual. I spent ten years in the village. I learned Romanian and became fluent, ran a guesthouse, and built my own home.
Romania also gave me room to explore. I set off alone on hikes into distant parts of the Carpathian Mountains, and eventually bought my first 4x4 to reach remote tracks. Some were so little known that even locals hadn’t travelled them. Those days outdoors, finding my own way through the mountains, are still among the experiences I treasure most.
Travel and photography have taken me to 115 countries, often to places far from the usual routes. I’ve met people whose lives were very different from mine, and those encounters have stayed with me.
My mother was an early inspiration for that curiosity and creativity. I remember a photo of her at about eight years old, holding a Polaroid camera. She dreamed of travelling the world and capturing what she saw. I often think that, in my own way, I’m following a path she imagined and bringing some of those dreams to life through my travels and photographs.
“In my own way, I’m following a path she imagined.”
Iran, Romania and Morocco have each opened a different door for me. They’ve helped me see beyond my own horizons and appreciate new places, cultures and ways of life. In time, Ana and I created Moroccan Ventures, offering private tours for people who want to experience Morocco with care and curiosity.
In 2026, we made Morocco another home. We now divide our time between Romania and North Africa, exploring Morocco while continuing to travel when we can.
For most of my career I’ve worked as a product designer, focused on user experience: understanding what people really need and shaping every detail around them. Launching Global Venturers is my way of bringing that same care to the thing I love most. It’s driven by a pure passion for travel.
With Global Venturers, I want to share the places and experiences that have meant something to me, and help others discover them for themselves. I hope the journeys we offer feel personal, thoughtful and full of the kind of encounters you remember long after you’ve returned home.

12-day small-group journey · October 2027
Twelve days. Eight travellers. One Morocco you’ll never forget.
A premium small-group journey through Morocco’s most beautiful places, with handpicked boutique riads, a luxury desert camp and time to truly take it all in. Led by photographer Bijan Paul, who has explored 115 countries and lives between Romania and Morocco.
After years of running private trips across Morocco with Moroccan Ventures, we created this journey for travellers who want to see the country beautifully and without rushing: elegant boutique riads, a luxury tented camp in the dunes, expert local guides, and our founder Bijan as your tour leader from the first evening to the last.
The pace is unhurried, with two nights in most places, relaxed mornings and free time to enjoy your surroundings. It suits couples, friends and solo travellers who value comfort and want to share the experience with a small group.
This isn’t a budget group tour or a coach trip. It’s a premium journey we’ve crafted ourselves for eight travellers, with beautiful places to stay, time to savour each destination and doors opened to a Morocco most visitors never get to see.
Your travel tribe
Small enough that everyone knows your name by day two. Big enough for great conversations, shared laughs and someone to climb the dune with at sunrise.
Morocco, the local way
Tea with a Berber family in the Atlas, the palm groves of the Draa Valley, music around the fire at Erg Chegaga. You’re welcomed as guests, not tourists.
Moments you share
Getting lost in the souks together, cooking a tagine side by side, stories around the campfire under the stars. The memories are better because you made them together.
8travellers, never more
∞friendships that outlast the trip
Through Bijan’s lens
The Morocco you'll see

Questions before you book?
Talk to us
Send us a message and we’ll reply within one working day with room availability and the full trip notes.
These terms and conditions apply to every journey booked with Global Venturers. Please read them carefully, as they form the contract between you and us.
“We”, “us” and “our” mean Global Venturers Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number [00000000]), registered office 6 Mc Williams Close, Talbot Village, Poole, Dorset BH12 5HP. “You” and “your” mean everyone named on the booking. The person who makes the booking (the “lead traveller”) must be at least 18 and agrees to these terms on behalf of everyone on the booking.
2. Making a booking
To book, complete the booking form and pay a deposit of 30% of the journey price for each traveller.
Your booking is confirmed, and the contract between us begins, when we send you written confirmation by email.
Please check your confirmation carefully and tell us straight away if anything is wrong, including names, which must match your passports.
Travellers under 18 must travel with a parent or guardian, and our journeys are designed for adults.
Each departure is limited to eight travellers. Places are confirmed in the order deposits are received.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are per person in pounds sterling (GBP), based on two people sharing a room. A private room is available for a supplement.
What is and isn’t included is shown on each journey page. International flights, travel insurance, food and drinks (unless stated), tips and personal spending are not included.
The balance is due 60 days before departure. If you book within 60 days of departure, the full price is due when you book.
If we don’t receive the balance on time, we may treat your booking as cancelled and apply the cancellation charges in section 4.
Once your booking is confirmed, we will not increase the price.
4. If you cancel
You can cancel at any time by emailing us. Your cancellation takes effect on the day we receive it.
Within 14 days of booking (and more than 60 days before departure): we refund your deposit in full.
More than 60 days before departure: you lose your deposit.
60 to 31 days before departure: 50% of the journey price.
30 to 15 days before departure: 75% of the journey price.
14 days or less before departure: 100% of the journey price.
Your travel insurance may cover these charges, depending on your reason for cancelling. If you leave a journey early, or miss part of it, we cannot refund unused services.
5. Changes you make
If you would like to change something after booking, tell us as soon as possible. We will try to help, but cannot guarantee every change.
You may transfer your place to someone else, as long as we receive their details at least 30 days before departure. An administration fee of [£50] may apply, plus any costs charged by our suppliers.
Moving to a different departure date counts as a cancellation and a new booking, unless we agree otherwise.
6. If we change or cancel your journey
Our journeys need a minimum of six travellers. If this isn’t reached, we will tell you at least 60 days before departure and give you a full refund of everything you’ve paid, or the option to move to another departure.
Small changes can happen, for example a different hotel of a similar standard or a change to the order of the days. We will tell you about these as soon as we can.
If we have to make a significant change before departure, you can accept the change, choose another journey, or cancel and receive a full refund.
We will not pay compensation where a change or cancellation is caused by events beyond our control, such as extreme weather, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, epidemics or government action. In those cases we will always do our best to find an alternative and keep you safe.
During the journey, your tour leader may adjust the itinerary for safety, weather or road conditions.
7. Travel insurance
Travel insurance is a condition of booking. Your policy must cover medical expenses, emergency repatriation and personal liability, and we strongly recommend it also covers cancellation. Please bring your policy details with you; your tour leader will ask for them at the start of the journey.
8. Passports, visas and health
You are responsible for having a valid passport, any visas and any vaccinations needed for your journey. Most passports should be valid for at least six months after you return.
Please check the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office travel advice, or your own government’s advice, before you travel.
Our journeys involve walking in medinas, some long drives and nights in desert camps. Please tell us before you book about any medical condition, mobility need or allergy that could affect your journey, so we can advise you.
9. On your journey
Group travel works best when everyone respects each other, local people and local customs. Your tour leader’s decisions on safety are final.
If someone’s behaviour puts others at risk or seriously disrupts the group, we may ask them to leave the journey, with no refund.
Please take care of your own belongings. We are not responsible for loss of or damage to personal items.
10. Photos and filming
We photograph and film our journeys and share the images with the group. We will always ask before using identifiable images of you in our marketing. If you would rather not be photographed, just let your tour leader know. See our privacy policy for more.
11. Offers and promotions
From time to time we may offer discounts, for example to our mailing list subscribers. Unless an offer says otherwise:
it applies to the journey price only, not to supplements, flights, insurance or extras;
it must be quoted when you book and cannot be added to an existing booking;
only one offer can be used per booking, and offers cannot be combined;
it is subject to availability, cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be transferred;
we may change or withdraw an offer at any time, without affecting bookings already confirmed.
12. Our responsibility to you
We will make sure the journey you book is provided with reasonable skill and care. If any part of it is not provided as promised, we will put things right where we can and, where appropriate, offer a fair refund or compensation.
We are not responsible where a problem is caused by you, by a third party not connected with your journey, or by unusual and unforeseeable events beyond our control. Our liability for losses that are not personal injury, illness or death is limited to the price of your journey. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
13. Complaints
If something isn’t right during your journey, please tell your tour leader straight away so we can fix it there and then. If you are still unhappy, please write to us at contact@globalventurers.com within 28 days of your return, and we will reply as quickly as we can.
14. Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England & Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
